STATISTICAL PHYSICS
Theoretical investigations of system whose behaviour is fundamentally determined by high number of particles. The investigations are focused on phenomena in scale invariant systems and processes, and are open for interdisciplinary applications from biology to social processes.

Main lines of investigations include:
 
Modelling of classical and quantum systems by means of renormalization group and related approaches and numerical methods.
Critical phenomena in systems with long range interactions
The influence of disorder and geometry aspects of phase transitions.
Non-equilibrium processes, phase transitions in systems put of equilibriu
