ACTIVITIES
Institute of Physics organizes various activities in order to popularize physics. 

Open days 

Since 2001 Institute annually organizes the Open Days. Our aim is to make physics closer to the general public, particularly to the pupils of elementary and higher schools through popular lectures and visits to our laboratories.


E-school

Scientists of the Institute actively participate in the projects of E-school PHYSICS of the Croatian Physics Society. It is an educational web site which has been succesfully rising interest in physics over more tham ten years.
Besides the information on the relevant events taking place in Croatia and on the new achievements of the physics throughout the world, the web site includes many original projects and popularly written articles in Croatian language, which serve as reliable source of ideas and information for pupils, students, teachers, as well as for everybody interested in physics.

Collaboration with media

In the period from 3rd to 12th of September 2008, the Institute was a host to the educational programme of the Croatian television. The Mladen Paić Hall was adapted as a studio in which the crew of the HRT built a classroom and filmed a series of programs dealing with physics under the title: "The experiments that have changed the world".
