Postdoctoral student position in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics at the Institute of Physics, Zagreb

SCEinLOM at the Institute of Physics, Zagreb, Croatia, invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics to work on a research project on modern multiferroic materials, strongly correlated and disordered systems. The position is for 8-months period with possibility for extension for one more year.

A PhD in Physics or equivalent degree is required. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in experimental low–temperature physics of condensed matter. However, we encourage applications from candidates with backgrounds in optical spectroscopy, x-ray scattering, and material sciences, who possess a keen interest establishing a new career in electronic ferroelectricity and multiferroicity. Candidates are requred to submit: their Curriculum Vite, liste of publications, a cover letter with a brief description of research interests, certificate of PhD or equivalent degree and contact information for three prospective referees.
